Developer Terms

Effective date: March 27, 2026

1. Scope

These Developer Terms apply when you publish, maintain, monetize, or otherwise distribute a skill through BringSkills. They supplement the general platform Terms of Service and the Revenue Policy.

2. Eligibility and Account Standing

You must provide accurate identity, profile, and payout information, maintain a verified account, and comply with applicable sanctions, export, tax, and platform safety requirements. BringSkills may request additional verification before approving or continuing developer access.

3. Security, Quality, and Support Obligations

  • Provide accurate product descriptions, pricing, and compatibility details.
  • Respond to buyer support issues within 72 hours for published skills.
  • Maintain your skill for security, reliability, and critical bug fixes.
  • Disclose any third-party dependencies, data access, or external services your skill relies on.
  • Avoid malware, hidden tracking, credential harvesting, or undisclosed remote code execution.

4. Commercial Terms

Unless a separate written agreement says otherwise, BringSkills currently operates on an 80/20 net-revenue split in favor of the developer. Payment processor fees, refunds, chargebacks, taxes, fraud losses, and other platform-authorized deductions are handled according to the Revenue Policy.

5. Ownership and Platform License

You retain ownership of the code and materials you submit, but you grant BringSkills a non-exclusive license to host, review, secure, execute, cache, display, market, and deliver your skill to buyers using the platform and its compatible execution infrastructure.

6. Skill Lifecycle Rules

  • You may update or unlist a skill at any time.
  • You may not delete a skill that has active buyers who still rely on platform delivery.
  • Existing buyers retain access to the version(s) they licensed, subject to lawful enforcement actions.
  • BringSkills may suspend listings that create legal, security, abuse, or policy risk.

7. Enforcement

BringSkills may reject, suspend, delist, or remove skills or developer access when there is suspected fraud, abuse, security risk, infringement, regulatory exposure, or a material breach of these terms. Where practical, we will notify you before or shortly after enforcement.
